The Northwest Coalition for Human Rights facilitates communication and collaboration among groups and individuals addressing human rights for the purpose of promoting human dignity, inclusion, and equal justice.
The NWCHR is founded upon the principles of the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution.
• NWCHR supports the self-evident truth that all persons are created equal
• NWCHR believes that the dignity and worth of each human being is inviolable
• NWCHR opposes discrimination or the denial of “Equal Protection of the Laws” based upon race, color, religion, creed, gender, age, disability, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, and social and/or economic status. NWCHR rejects any doctrine that advocates the superiority of any individual or group over another.
• NWCHR is committed to respecting the autonomy, work, and leadership of individuals and organizations addressing human rights, including members of the NWCHR.
